The fee applicable to your application depends on the nature and scale of the proposed works. If you are unsure which category applies, please contact the Secretary before submitting.
Applies to any proposal for a new dwelling, or the complete demolition and reconstruction of an existing property. Includes new detached houses and full plot redevelopment.
Applies to extensions or structural alterations affecting two or more rooms, including two-storey extensions, large single-storey additions, or significant internal reconfigurations that change the footprint of the property.
Applies to smaller extensions or alterations affecting a single room — for example, a single-storey kitchen or bathroom addition, a garage conversion, or replacement of windows and doors affecting one elevation.
Minor outbuildings and garden structures do not attract a fee, but Estate Committee approval is still required before work begins. Please submit the Application Checklist in the usual way.
For solicitors and conveyancers requiring a search of the Estate’s planning records — for example, in connection with a property purchase or sale. Covers a written response confirming the planning history of a property on the Estate.
Please contact the Estate Secretary before submitting. It is better to confirm in advance than to submit with the wrong fee, which may delay consideration of your application.
