Estate Committee member, Dave Pern, will be lacing up his walking boots this April to take on a 60-mile fundraising challenge in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.
The month-long challenge will see Dave, and his golden retriever Tilly, walking a total of 60 miles across local trails, raising money to support life-saving cancer research.
Cancer affects countless families and communities, inspiring the challenge as a way to make a positive difference while encouraging people to get outdoors and support an important cause.
Stand Up To Cancer funds innovative research projects designed to accelerate progress in cancer treatment and diagnosis. Donations of any size help scientists continue their work and bring new treatments closer to patients who need them.
