Minutes of the meeting of the Painshawfield Estate Committee held at Stocksfield Baptist Church at 19:30hrs on Wednesday 12th November 2025

Apologies for absence
Jen Adams, Tobias Zimmermann, Dave Pern and Brian McGurk presented their apologies.
Jen Adams will be working in London for the foreseeable future, so the Committee discussed the possibility of her attending future meetings remotely.
Action: JA to ask Church for wi-fi connections and to look at issuing a digital invite to Jen for future meetings.
GM has now completed the handover process and confirmed this is her last meeting as Secretary with Judy Allen now taking over the role. JA introduced herself at the meeting, providing a brief summary of her background.

CR confirmed that we are still waiting for Barclays to action the new signatories on the account. There are several high interest account options to consider for existing funds.
Action: CR to arrange a meeting with Jen Adams to assess high interest account options and prepare a proposal on recommendations for the next meeting. Litigation fund must be kept separately.
New secretary now appointed.
AH has sent CR the contribution spreadsheet re payment reminders
Payment reminder to be sent to individual households, addressed with occupants’ names.
Action: Judy Allen to sit down with CR to prepare individually addressed reminder letters. Ensure QR code is included in letters.
DE contacted AD about the tree – awaiting response.
Common Land
PM has contacted Rob Anderson – now waiting for a confirmed date to meet to discuss addition of new Trustees. PM was informed this may require legal involvement of a solicitor.
The trees have been cut down. The Parish Council has requested some of the wood from the Foxtail Pine to create a bench.
Action: Judy Allen to chase Parish Council to see if they still want this wood. Also to contact Denise Morphet from Painshawfield Biodiversity Society for advice on disposal of remaining wood.
